L.E.A.F Flower Show


LEAF Festival of Flowers in the Meatpacking District

The L.E.A.F. flower show is an annual event, where the best florists in the City displayed flower installations in public plazas and within stores in the Meatpacking District for 3 days this weekend. I was rushed for time to see this and only got to experience the flower installations in the main public plaza, which were absolutely breathtaking.

My favorites were the street sign installations by Lewis Miller –

This one was a celebration of New York, and felt like it was a great reflection of my blog!

Theresa Rivera had done a fabulous installation that one could walk through, and had a number of places for photo ops –

The installation called There’s No Other World by Larkspur Botanicals was a celestial celebration of the precious flora of the 7 continents

I loved this one as it was such a great celebration of June being Pride Month

I have made a mental note to plan more time for this next year!
