Bryant Park Public Restroom: Location, Availability, and Amenities
Bryant Park is a well-known public park located in Midtown Manhattan that offers a wide variety of activities and events year round, which I especially love in the summer and the winter. The Bryant Park Public Restroom is well known for the amenities it offers, especially given the surprising lack of restrooms in NYC in general.
Located on 42nd Street between 5th and 6th Avenues, the Bryant Park restrooms have been described as the “gold standard for park comfort stations” by a former New York City Department of Parks Commissioner. The restrooms underwent a $270,000 renovation very recently in 2017 funded by the Bryant Park Corporation, the nonprofit organization that manages the park, making them the most luxurious public bathrooms in all of New York City.
With full-time attendants, fresh flowers, classical music, and art, the Bryant Park restrooms provide a very pleasant and much needed facility for anyone to use all year round.
