Not the Usual Librarians at the New York Public Library

Photo Shoot at the New York Public Library

I have been wanting to visit the Polonsky Exhibit at the New York Public Library, and made my way there on a rainy and dreary Saturday afternoon. I was really disappointed to learn that the Polonsky Exhibit is closed till 6th October, but decided to walk through the stunning NYPL all the same as I don’t get to visit as often as I probably should. As is the case with so many of my experiences in NYC, best decision ever!

After I was done admiring the stunning architecture and public spaces, I stumbled across a risque photo shoot in this public space that I am guessing was not entirely with the necessary approvals or permissions, but which none of the visitors in the Library were phased by in any way. It started off pretty tame even though the latex outfits looked like a misfit as you can see below, till they started to become more revealing –

Notwithstanding the photo shoot, the Library was of course the most attractive thing during my visit.

And of course their very sage advice for one and all right in front of Library Way

All in all well worth a visit to NYPL even though the Polonsky Exhibit was closed after all.
