Madame Tussaud’s Sidewalk Gallery
Given I walk on 42nd Street as much as I do, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum is a place that I cross many times every week. The only time I have ever been in was for a holiday party, which was actually really fun as the wax sculptures were placed all around the cocktail area, making it feel like the celebrities were part of the party. Those pictures have too many people from a work context to share here, but in this post I wanted to share some of the wax sculptures I have crossed on the sidewalk over the years.
These days it is The Rock providing a photo op for passersby –
In the past I have encountered everyone from the Pope to Daniel Craig to Slimer and Muhammad Ali outside –
And while this has nothing to do with Madame Tussauds wax creations, this character can be seen every once in a while enjoying his own reflection in the Madame Tussauds windows –
